STI/STD Prevention

Both terms refer to the same thing: infections transmitted through sexual contact. “STD” stands for sexually transmitted disease, while “STI” stands for sexually transmitted infection. Although “STI” is the more accurate term scientifically, “STD” is more commonly used. These infections can be spread through various types of sexual activity, including kissing, genital contact, and intercourse.
